Publisher Guide
Everything you need to start earning on TapRain: connecting your traffic, understanding payouts, and growing your account.
Getting Started
TapRain is a publisher-side affiliate network. You drive traffic to offers and earn a commission for each completed conversion.
Create your account
Sign up and verify your email address.
Browse offers
Visit the Offers page to see available campaigns and their payouts.
Copy your postback URL
Your unique URL is pre-filled with your publisher ID and security key. Paste it into your traffic source or tracker.
Send traffic
Each completed action fires the postback and credits your balance instantly.
Your account is assigned a unique publisher ID. Always use this ID as the external_identifier value in your postback URL.
How Earnings Work
Every credited conversion goes through the following steps before landing in your balance.
Raw payout received
The network sends the base payout amount via postback in cents.
Performance bonus applied
TapRain adds a performance bonus on top of every conversion automatically.
Revenue quality check
Conversions go through a quality review to protect publisher payouts from fraudulent traffic.
Balance credited
The final amount is added to your available balance instantly.
Your earnings tier increases as your lifetime volume grows. Higher tiers earn a greater share per conversion. Check your current tier on the Levels page.
Postback Setup
A postback URL is the server-to-server signal your traffic platform sends when a user completes an offer. TapRain credits your account when this fires. Find your personal URL (pre-filled) on the Offers page.

Postback parameters
keyYour security key (never share this). Found on the Offers page.
external_identifierYour publisher ID on TapRain.
amountPayout amount in cents (positive integer). Example: 250 = $2.50.
offer_nameName of the completed offer. Shown in reports and the live admin feed.
country_codeISO 3166-1 alpha-2 country code of the user (e.g. US, GB).
ipEnd-user IP address. Used for quality scoring.
statusConversion status. Pass 1 for approved.
Offerwalls
TapRain lets you create branded offerwalls that you can embed in your own sites or apps. Each offerwall automatically aggregates live offers from the network.
Create an offerwall
Go to Offerwalls in your dashboard and click Create Offerwall. Customize colors, layout, and point labels.
Copy the embed snippet
Grab the generated iframe code and paste it into your site or app.
Track performance
View impression and conversion data per offerwall from the Offerwalls page.
Use the s1 parameter in the embed URL to pass your own sub-ID for attribution tracking.
Referrals & Ranks
Refer other publishers and earn a percentage of their conversions for life. Your commission rate grows as you reach higher ranks.
Your referral commission rate increases with each rank milestone. Exact rates are shown on the Levels page once you are logged in.
Referral commissions are paid out alongside your regular conversions and appear as separate entries in your earnings history.
Payments
Payments are processed weekly every Wednesday at 10AM EST via Tipalti. To receive payments:
Link your Tipalti account
Go to Account Settings and connect your Tipalti account.
Complete your tax form
Submit the required tax documentation and wait for approval.
Maintain minimum balance
Ensure your balance is above the payment threshold before each Wednesday batch.
Instant payment requests are available for balances over $100 and are manually reviewed before processing.
